Usually, I don't really get excited about new nail polishes by Essence, but this time I really was! I saw a picture on Essence's Instagram of a girl wearing this exact nail polish and I immediately took a screenshot of it. It looked a lot like my favorite nail polish ever, which is Fiji by Essie, but just a little bit whiter instead of pink.
03 Happy Nails is a white with subtle pink/mauve undertones. It doesn't have any shimmer in it, but it has a beautiful shiny finish. I'm absolutely in love with how this color looks on my nails!
The Colour & Care Strengthening Nail Polish is available in 5 different creamy shades:
❤ Take a Break ❤ I Care For You ❤ Happy Nails ❤ Lean On Me ❤ You Made My Day
This nail polish is supposed to strengthen and protect the nails, which is something I can really use since my nails have been pealing off lately. They claim it's made with natural ingredients, so of course I looked up the ingredients list:
Now to be honest, I don't understand most of these ingredients haha! But I don't really notice any harsh chemicals or really bad ingredients such as parabens.
The formula is one I really like. It's not too liquid or too sticky, just perfect. The applicator is rather large and covers the nails in only 2-3 stroaks, which is again something I really enjoy. It dried relatively fast and looked opaque after 2 coats. So far, it's been on my nails for 2 days and it's still going strong.
Honestly, this is one of my new favorite nail polishes from the drugstore! Such a pretty shade with an amazing formula and applicator! I will definitely be picking up a few more shades!
The new Essence Colour & Care Strengthening Nail Polish is now available at Kruidvat and online for €1,99 (10 ml).
