Jaclyn Hill is one of my favorite youtubers ever. I think she's so talented, humble and just an amazing person in general. Whenever she collaborates with any brand I just have to get my hands on it. So when I heard she was collaborating with Becca cosmetics (which is my favorite brand when it comes to highlighters), I got really excited. She came out with the shimmering skin perfector in 'Champagne Pop', which is the perfect universal highlight shade. From the moment I saw this highlight I was completely sold and I knew I had to get my hands on it, one way or another.
The packaging that Champagne Pop comes in is the same as their other highlighting powders, which is a very unique looking and luxurious feeling packaging with a huge mirror inside. It does come in a little rose-gold box that has Jaclyn's signature on it with little drops that represent the champagne. I do wish they did something different with the packaging of the highlight itself, because when I throw away the box you won't be able to tell that it was a limited edition product.
Champagne Pop is a light-medium soft gold with pink and peach undertones. It's definitely a unique shade since it tends to look different in some lights. Sometimes it looks like a pale and white golden shade and in other lights it can look very peachy and pink. Champagne Pop is one of those highlight shades that would look amazing on so many different skin-tones, wether you have very pale or darker skin. It's definitely a 'dream shade', as Jaclyn calls it.
This highlight is no joke though. It's definitely a veeeery noticeable and intense highlight. The pigmentation is so on point and it adds such a nice dewiness and radiance to the skin, it's insane. If you prefer more subtle highlights, I would recommend just dabbing your brush in this once and then maybe adding some if necessary, but definitely use a light hand with this one!
The texture is just the same as the other shimmering skin perfectors, which is just an absolute dream. It feels super soft and almost like a cream, even though it's a powder. It just blends so seamlessly onto the skin and it's so smooth and buttery. Another thing I love about the formula of these is that they tend to stay on my face throughout the day, they're definitely long-lasting.
What's great about Champagne Pop is that it's not only great as a highlight but you could also use this as an eyeshadow! This shade would look so good all over the lid, as a brow-bone highlight or inner-corner highlight.

I am so so so happy I was able to get my hands on this gorgeous highlight! I support everything Jaclyn Hill does and trust that she won't put her name on a product that is not worth it. Champagne Pop is such a beautiful and intense highlight, I love it so much and I just can't stop using it. It isn't a subtle highlight at all, which maybe isn't for some people but I definitely like that in-your-face glow!
The Becca 'Champagne Pop' Shimmering Skin Perfector is a limited edition product but it's still available in Sephora and sephora.com for $38 (8g). I ordered mine online, which was a bit expensive but it was totally worth it for me!
