Essence All About Chocolates Eyeshadow Palette

Now that Essence and Catrice have their large stands here in Belgium as well, things got dangerous. And when I say dangerous, I mean very dangerous. Now, I'm able to get my hands on literarily all their products, which is too tempting for me to resist. I have a pile of stuff from them that is waiting to be reviewed, but I wanted to start with this new eyeshadow palette by Essence. All About Chocolates is their newest addition to their pre-existing All About range, and it's the prettiest in my opinion.

The packaging of this palette is very basic and simple: you get 6 shadows in a clear plastic packaging, no mirror, no brushes. Normally I'm that big a fan of simple packaging, but with these palettes, I quite like it. I love how I'm able to see through the packaging, that way I immediately know what I'm reaching, without having to open it up. One thing I don't really like about this palette is that one of the shadows already fell out, which means they're not glued properly. But aside from that, I like the packaging of this palette!

The 'All About...' range comes in 5 different variaties: Nude, Candies, Sunrise, Paradise and now also Chocolates. I also own All About Nude and All About Sunrise, which I have loved so much!

The All About Chocolate eyeshadow palette comes with 6 different eyeshadow shades, all neutral, that go nicely together. They each have different effects, you get a matte shadow, some shimmery ones and some with a metallic finish. I adore all of these shades, but I wish the first matte beige shade would've been a little bit more pigmented. But since it's less pigmented, it's great as a brow-bone highlight, so why am I complaining, right?

The texture of these shadows is very soft and smooth and they blend nicely together. I didn't have any fall-out, and they stayed on my eyelids the entire day. I actually can't say that many bad things about this palette, it's really perfect, especially for the price!

I would definitely recommend getting your hands on one of these palettes! The texture is super nice, I love the colors and it's low-budget! For only €3,59 (8,5g), you can't really hesitate! The All About Chocolates palette is available at select Kruidvat stores and online.
