I have had this palette laying around in my drawer for almost 10 months now, sitting there untouched. So I thought it was about time I tried this quad by Revlon out. I always love testing out new makeup products, so I couldn't wait any longer to give this one a try. If you'd like to know if it's any good, keep on reading!
The packaging is very basic and simple. I like how it's see-through on the front, that way you can easily see the shadows when grabbing it from your stash. The pans are quite large and they come with a small eyeshadow-brush. If you're a beginner, you would love the instructions on the back, they explain which shadow should go where on your eyelid! Of course no one has to follow those instructions, but it's super handy if you're a beginner. I didn't use the instructions, but I think it's a nice plus.
Moonlit comes with 4 neutral shadows. There's one highlight shade and 3 different brown shades. The shadows are not super glittery, but they're not matte either, they're almost satin-like. They swatched pretty good, just nothing super pigmented. When I was applying these shadows, I did have to build up the color, but luckily they're quite buildable and easy to blend. I won't use only this palette to create an eyeshadow look, but you could easily do that if you want. The shadows lasted pretty good on my eyelids throughout the day without creasing or without any fall-out.
I don't hate this palette at all, but it's not my biggest love either. It's just OK. You know, sometimes you try out products and you don't really fall in love with them, but you don't think they're bad either? That's how I feel about this one. The quality is good, the pigmentation is average but it did stay on my eyelids for an entire day, without much fall-out. You can get this quad at Revlon counters (Planet Parfum) or online for about €12,95 (4,8g).
