I have been using face primers for about a year now but it's not until I tried this one that I truly understood the difference it can make. Sure, it helps control my oily t-zone a little bit. And maybe it prolongs the lastingness of my foundation, but I never really noticed any visible difference. Then I tried the Laura Mercier Radiance Bronze foundation primer and I finally noticed a difference. Why would I apply a regular and boring face primer when I can use one that makes me look more glowy and adds a little bit of bronze at the same time? This one is just perfect. It doesn't feel greasy or silicone-like at all. It is super soft and easy to blend. I use about two times the amount shown in the picture below and apply it with my fingertips. It's as if I'm applying a moisturizer, that's how easy it blends. It doesn't have one of those funky scents or anything like that. The good thing about his bronzing primer is that you don't need to be super tanned to be able to pull this off. You just have to use a little bit less but once your foundation goes over it, your skin tone is evened out but just with little hint of a tan. It also adds a radiance to the skin, making you look super healthy and dewy but not oily at all.
Laura Mercier Radiance Bronze Foundation Primer is available online for €41,70 (50ml). Mine is a sample size I got whilst shopping at Sephora in the US. I know it is pricey, but I know I'll be purchasing the full size once I run out of this one for sure! PS: I got so many compliments on how my makeup looked on days I wore this primer, I don't think that's a coincidence!
