Essence Peach Beach Eyeshadow

Peach Beach, I just love the name of this eye shadow! The sun is finally showing up again and I couldn’t be happier. I have to work tomorrow but I plan on taking it easy today and in the evening I’m going out to eat with a friend. I’m going to try taking lots of pictures of my week and if I have enough, I could do a “my week in pictures” post or something like that : ) Let me know if you would like to see that! So on with today’s post! It’s about a fairly new eyeshadow from Essence that I’m quite enjoying.

Essence came out with a few new shades and products a while ago for spring and summer and Peach Beach was one of those new mono eyeshadow shades. They are super small and compact and I like how the packaging is see-through, makes it easy to spot this color in your makeup bag/collection.

Peach Beach is a shimmery champagne/peach shade. It says that it’s a holographic effect shadow, but to be honest I didn’t really notice that. It’s shimmery, yes, but that’s about it. Peach Beach is the perfect highlighting color, or you can use it as an all-over lid shade. I love my shimmery champagne shades so this will definitely be used quite often! The texture is soft and it stayed on my eyelids the entire day without creasing, so you could say that the quality is amazing.

One thing I did notice is that there’s some sort of over-spray on this shadow, at first it’s super shimmery but once that first layer is gone it looks way less shimmery and intense. I don’t understand why they would do that aargh!

Essence Peach Beach €1,89 (2,5g) available at Kruidvat.
