bareMinerals The Top Shelf

34

After my first bareMinerals palette, which was 'The Happy Place', I was sold. They had completely convinced me and I really wanted to have 'The Top Shelf'. I swatched it when I was at Sephora the other day and it was so beautiful. I kept staring at my hand the entire day and that's when I know I just have to have it.

This duo comes with a mirror and little eyeshadow applicator. The packaging is matte black, which is super pretty, but not so clean, it attracts dust like crazy.

Mixologist is a super pretty light champagne with a sheen. It's not the most pigmented of the 2 but it feels very velvety and soft. It does look lighter when applied on the eyelid then it looks when swatched. I like to use this shade as an inner-corner highlight and under my brows.

Cognac is is warm copper/bronzy brown with a creamy and metallic finish. It's so so so pigmented and it applies very smooth and buttery. It's the perfect shadow to apply all over the eyelid, or even as a crease-color it would look great.

Both eyeshadows didn't crease and stayed in place the entire day, no fall-out (I did use a primer).

If you like the Urban Decay eyeshadows, you will be so in love with bareMinerals' shadows. The quality and pigmentation is just impressive! You can get this palette on lookfantastic.com for €17,39 (they're on sale!), which is really decently priced if you ask me!
