The multitasker: Nars Portofino

As you may or may not know, I love Nars products. I have tried their blushes and lipsticks and each of them have never failed to please me. Always with the best quality, the most beautiful packaging and fabulous colors. The multiple, however, is a unique kind of product. You can put it on your cheeks, lips, eyes or anywhere on your face or body. This is just one of those products that intrigued me for so long, yet I was never fully convinced I wanted to buy it. Finally I just gave up, and decided to try it and see if it's worth all the hype.

These multiples come in various colors, ranging from blushes to highlighters and even bronzers. Portofino is a sheer, pink/coral/orange with little shimmering accents, but nothing to sparkly. It's enriched with vitamin E and açai oil, which makes these super hydrating.

There are a few different ways you could apply this, using your fingers, a sponge or just a regular blush brush. I opted for the brush, swirling it around on the top of the blush and then just applied it like a regular blush. It took me a while to figure out how I wanted to use this, but I got there. You can easily build it up and blend it into the skin. The quality, again, didn't let me down. The color is intense, highly pigmented and super long wearing. It lasted me the entire day. It's perfect for that nice dewy look, as it doesn't dry into a matte of powdery finish. I do have to admit that I reach for my regular powder blushes more often, but that doesn't mean that this product isn't great, because it is!

Wearing Nars Portofino on my cheeks
It's available in stores, or you can order it online here. It retails for €37,25 and contains 14g.

I know it's quite a lot of money, but with this product, a little goes a long way. You seriously don't need that much product and the color pay-off is great. If you are willing to spend a bit more on a product, definitely consider this one!
